Thank you to all who have supported this project so far.

With exams out of the way students at OLCC have become active again in raising funds to support this vocational school for vulnerable girls. We have recently raised the £1200 required to buy beds, mattresses and bedding for 40 girls who board and contributed several thousands of pounds over the last 3 years for the construction of the new dormitory. The beds have been put in one of the two classrooms for now because the dormitory is unfinished (although part is being used as a classroom). Our next step is to help raise the £7000 required to complete the dormitory. . This is a large sum of  money but I am encouraging students to think like the Ugandans – it will happen slowly if we keep working at it.

Here are a few pictures to help you see what has been accomplished and what still needs to be done. Fr Sunday ensures receipts and invoices are produced for all the money we send and we hope this is reassuring to everyone who has contributed.

Covid cases have risen in Uganda recently and there is currently a six week lockdown with schools closed. There is a massive vaccine shortage. The BBC reported people queueing for vaccines overnight, sleeping on the floor. Please continue to pray for all people in developing countries who have not got equal access to the vaccines.
